East African Aviation is proud to introduce the first full-motion simulator in Ethiopia. Our simulator provides enhanced training to all aviation students from prospective pilots to professional crew. The dual control of the simulator allows an instructor, instructor-in-training, or co-pilot to perform maneuvers from the right seat. During initial pilot training, an instructor can demonstrate maneuvers from the right seat before the student tries their hand, just like you would do in the real airplane. For advanced training like the instrument and type rating courses, the simulator provides a platform where crew training can be perfected. Included also is a dual, control-loading yoke system and dual rudder pedals for simultaneous pilot and copilot control. When you add this dual control system to the simulators wrap-around visuals and quick-change cockpit configurations, the simulator becomes a truly powerful training tool.
The simulator comes equipped with our innovative, 3-axis, electric motion platform. This one-of-a-kind system provides effective motion feedback for yaw, pitch, and roll.
For the instructor to student debriefing sessions, we have a fully integrated system that monitors every control input from the student. This is outputted on a monitor that records the student’s current flight, which is useful for reviewing student flight recordings with the instructor.
